In the cricketing world, Pakistan is recognized as a factory of the fast bowlers and the notion recently got strengthened with the rise of pace sensation Naseem Shah. Possessing brutal pace to test the quality of many batters, Naseem offers the X factor to any pace artillery.
While he claimed only 1 wicket on his debut Test, but cricket pundits across the globe are predicting a strong future for the newly emerged pacer. After a long bowling outing in Brisbane, few experts demanded rest for Naseem Shah in the next Test as they want to see the budding muscles getting relaxed. However, former Pakistan captain Wasim Akram isn’t finding himself in an agreement to this notion.
The cricketer turned commentator said that there’s no point in playing Naseem in one game and rest him for the next two matches. Highlighting the 4-day gap between the first and the second red-ball game, the 53-year old said that Naseem has got the rest he needed and management should play him in the day-night Test match at Adelaide.
