The 26-year-old, playing just his second game in Test cricket, registered astonishing figures of 7-75. This marks just the fourth instance of a Caribbean spinner taking seven or more wickets in the subcontinent. The collapse engineered by Cornwall's tight lines and lengths deeply dented Afghanistan's progress.
The youngster, who weighs a mighty 308 pounds, garnered a lot of admiration for his disciplined bowling. "I was just looking to put the ball in the right areas. Just try to stay as balanced as possible," he said following his bowling heroics.
