Moeen Ali wants cricket to return to Pakistan

After the horrible incident of year 2009 when Sri Lankan team bus was attacked in Lahore, Pakistan remained a no-go area. However, using the bridge of Pakistan Super League (PSL), the country has experienced a partial resumption of the International cricket as teams have started to visit Pakistan.

Recently, English all-rounder Moeen Ali thrilled the Pakistani fans by giving his willingness to play in Pakistan. In the drafts for the upcoming edition of the darling T20 league of the country, the 32-year old cricketer has been placed in the platinum category. The veteran of 146 T20s has never played the 6-team tournament, so it further excited him.

Moeen said that Pakistan is a fantastic place to play cricket as it offers a plethora of fans who are very passionate about the game. The Birmingham born admitted that not playing home cricket takes the advantage away from any team. Nevertheless, with the recent wave of cricket going back to Pakistan, the dexterous cricketer is confident to see Pakistan holding regular International cricket.
