Pakistan’s embarrassing record in Australia reads 13 consecutive Test losses in the country dating back to two decades. Tour after tour, they have failed to put up a challenge to the hosts and have continually withered away under the immense pressure down under.
Shedding light on Pakistan’s alarming string of defeats in Australia, former Australia batsman Mark Taylor stated there was a problem with the mindset of the Men in Green. Taylor was of the opinion that Pakistan teams usually arrive in Australia embroiled in negativity and desperately needed an able leader to overcome that mindset.
“I think there's a bit of a feeling that when Pakistan come to Australia straight away they're thinking it will be tough & they'll struggle to win, which is the wrong attitude & it's hard to break. You need a strong side with a strong leader to overcome that,” Taylor said.
