Aussie off-spinner Nathan Lyon came back to form against Pakistan in the 2nd innings of the 2nd Test at the Adelaide Oval. Lyon delivered a clever spell of bowling which saw him getting another five-wicket haul in Test matches.
The off-spinner started the proceedings by bowling around the wicket to the right-handers and bowled at nagging lengths consistently.
He took full advantage of the rough patches on the pitch and the Pakistan batsmen couldn’t resist against the right-arm off-spinner.
Only Mohammad Rizwan (45) looked comfortable against Nathan Lyon as the main batters like Shan Masood, Asad Shafiq and Iftikhar Ahmed were taken easily by Nathan. Lyon completed his five-for by taking the wicket of Shaheen Shah Afridi. Lyon returned with figures of 5-69.
