Pakistan’s paceman Usman Shinwari too was extremely impressed with Yasir’s batting and shared an event that took place before the Australia tour.
The skillful quick added that Yasir was playing many shots against his team in one of the fixtures of the ongoing season of the Quaid-e-Azam Trophy.
Seeing all this, the 25-year old sledged Yasir by saying that he would like to see him scoring big against a superlative pace attack in Australia.
To Usman’s surprise, Yasir mustered 113 runs in tough conditions against probably the best pace attack of the world. This amazed the Khyber Agency born player who lauded Yasir’s lionhearted effort. Moreover, Usman said that he wants Yasir to keep contributing like that as it is imperative for the tail to hang around in such situations.
