After facing defeat in the 1st Test match against the Kiwis, visitors England were looking good to equal the series in the 2nd Test match at Hamilton.
However, the batting prowess of Ross Taylor and Kane Williamson once again got the better of the English bowlers as both of them stood tall against the likes of Jofra Archer, Stuart Broad, Chris Woakes, Sam Curran and Ben Stokes.
Williamson (104*) and Taylor (105*) made sure that they draw the match and bat until the end of the day. English captain Joe Root got a double ton in the same match but he was criticized for his slow batting and the New Zealand batters were given enough time to draw the match.
Ross Taylor smacked 11 fours and 2 maximums whilst Kane only managed to hit the same number of fours as his partner.
