The iconic game of cricket has always been filled with sparkling celebrations. Be it the celebratory run of Imran Tahir, the army salute of Sheldon Cottrell, the bomb explosion signature of Hasan Ali or the iconic signature hand aloft in joy by Shahid Afridi, cricket fans have found never-ending reasons to get thrilled.
The list recently got swelled by South Africa’s spinner Tabraiz Shamsi who went on to perform a magic track after dismissing Durban Heat’s Wihan Lubbe in the ongoing edition of the Mzansi Super League (MSL).
This wasn’t the first instance of him leaving fans jaw-dropped as him using his shoes to make a phone-call kept making rounds on the social media. However, the magic trick celebration is becoming a norm for the 29-year old cricketer in South Africa’s 20-over competition.
Sharing his views on all this, Shamsi said that he was always fascinated by magic tricks and he wanted to become a magician once. Therefore, the Johannesburg born celebrates his love with magic by pulling magic tricks on the cricketing field.
