It was raining sixes in Kerala as the Windies batsmen out-classed Indian team at their own backyard. Indian bowlers were left half-hearted against the West Indian top-order. Lendl Simmons was the star of the show during the 2nd T20I game at Thiruvananthapuram.
Simmons smashed the Indian bowlers all over the park as he scored 67 off just 45 balls. His fast-flowing knock including 4 boundaries and 4 sixes. West Indies chased the total of 171 runs with 8 wickets in hand and 9 balls remaining.
Simmons was named man of the match for his belligerent knock. It is not the first time that the West Indian top-order batsman smashed India at home. In 2016 ICC T20 World Cup semi-final at the Wankhede, Simmons proved to be a nightmare for the Indian bowlers as his match-winning knock got his team into the finals.
