Amir, Irfan leave for Bangladesh Premier League

After spreading its charm in the previous editions of the tournament, Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) is set to get back in action with another season of proper entertainment. For this 20-over tournament, various top T20 cricketers, with exceptional capabilities, have been hired by the 7 franchises who are to compete for the coveted title.

Pakistan’s pace duo of Mohammad Amir and Mohammad Irfan aren’t any different as their services were acquired by Khulna Titans and Rajshahi Royals respectively. With the 7-team competition starting from December 11 with a game between Chattogram Challengers and Sylhet Thunders, Amir and Irfan have left for Bangladesh to join their sides.

Both pacers contain a wealth of experience which was gained as a result of playing in many franchise-based T20 tournaments across the globe. The left-armers are confident to record a strong show in the upcoming edition of Bangladesh’s highly desired T20 tournament. It remains to be seen how they fare in this event.
