The young all-rounder from Mumbai Shivam Dube was promoted up the order by Virat Kohli and he showed his batting prowess to claim his maiden T20I half-century. After losing KL Rahul early in the innings, Dube joined Rohit to rebuilt the innings for India.
In his 30-ball 54, Shivam smashed 4 massive sixes and also scored 3 fours. He was hitting the ball in the air and the ropes were getting cleared easily by the left-hander.
He couldn’t impress the fans with his performance in the first few games against Bangladesh but he got the opportunity to bat up the order, therefore, he recorded a decent and memorable outing against the West Indies. India eventually lost the match but Shivam Dube will surely remember his innings of 54 for a very long time.
