The Indian opening batsman, Rohit Sharma has hailed the way West Indies has played in the ongoing T20I series. The right-handed batsman said that the Windies has emerged as a different team under the captaincy of Kieron Pollard. Rohit, being the team-mate of Pollard in Mumbai Indians, said that he knows a lot about the way he thinks.
“They are very unpredictable as a team. You never know what they can come up on the given particular day. Even in the 1st game, they played very well. It was Virat's brilliance that got us over the line. With the West Indies, this is always expected. They play well as a team,” Rohit said.

When asked about his IPL teammate Kieron Pollard, the right-hand batsman said, “I think he [Pollard] is a very smart player. Obviously, he is the captain of the team. When it comes to Mumbai, he was always part of the leadership group. Last year, for Mumbai, when I was not there for 1 game, he captained the team.”
“Now under the leadership of Pollard. I know Pollard really well. I know how he thinks. I know as a leader what he would be expecting from the team. It's a different team that we are seeing now,” he added. The T20I series between the two teams hangs in balance as the both teams will fight for the trophy in the final encounter at Mumbai.
