Records tumbled in Mumbai as the Indian captain Virat Kohli adds yet another half-century to his well-established T20I career. He smashed the Windies bowlers in his knock of 70 which came off just 29 balls. This was Virat’s fastest T20I half-century (also the 5th fastest by an Indian in this format).
Virat’s innings included 4 boundaries and 7 sixes. He along with KL Rahul helped India to propel to their 2nd highest total in the T20I history. Virat enjoyed a terrific form during this T20I series.
He now averages 52.66 in the shortest format of the game. The run-machine has been a wonderful prospect for India in the limited-overs. He will now look to carry on his merry way in the ODI series against the West Indies.
