After hammering India in the 2nd T20I at their home, the Caribbean boys looked in good shape to challenge the hosts in the 3rd and final T20I of the series. However, all the plans were shattered by a belligerent display of batting by the top order of India.
The chief destroyer in the final game of the series was KL Rahul who went on to score 91 off just 56 balls with 4 sixes and 9 boundaries. Rahul played exceptionally well for his half-century and he took the attack from the start of the innings.
He never looked in any trouble as he found gaps easily along the ground. Rahul was involved in a marathon opening partnership of 135 runs.
Rohit Sharma also played a masterful knock of 71 runs and took only 34 balls to reach there. Captain of the Indian team Virat Kohli also played a vital knock of 70 runs off just 29 balls to take India to a mammoth total of 240-3. Kohli ended up hitting 7 sixes in his knock backed by 4 fours.
