Australian all-rounder Glenn Maxwell joined the Melbourne Stars training camp after a six-week-long break courtesy mental health issues. Maxwell took a break from International Cricket during the T20I series against Sri Lanka as he was not feeling well.
He missed the white-ball stint against Pakistan but now he has joined the Melbourne camp ahead of their opener against the Brisbane Heat on December 20.

Maxwell will lead the Melbourne Stars in the Big Bash League season 2019-20. David Hussey, the Stars' head coach, said he was delighted to have Maxwell in the camp.
"We're pleased to see Glenn in green and ready to lead our side with a big season ahead," Hussey said. "He's an incredible talent and a key part of our club but health and wellbeing come first and it's important that he's been able to take some time away to focus on that”, he added. Maxwell is also set to under-go Indian Premier League auction in the upcoming week.
