Flamboyant England all-rounder Chris Jordan has expressed his excitement for the upcoming edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) where he will be plying his trade for Karachi Kings. Jordan has previously represented Peshawar Zalmi in the glitzy tournament and this will be his first experience in the Karachi Kings camp.
In a video message, Jordan claimed he was eagerly awaiting the chance to showcase his talent in Pakistan in front of the passionate Karachi fans, who he hoped would turn out in large numbers during the home games.
“Hello to the entire Kings’ community, Chris Jordan here. I am really looking forward to being a part of PSL 5. I can’t wait to get out on the field in front of an enthusiastic Kings’ crowd and I am sure you will have Karachi’s stadium rocking,” Jordan said in a clip uploaded by the franchise on its Twitter account.
Jordan was picked by Karachi Kings in the Diamond category amidst the recently held PSL draft. The 31-year-old is known for his ability to crank up the ferocious pace and unleash powerful hits lower down the order.
