Babar Azam has emerged as Pakistan’s premier all-formats batsman after his recent surge in Test cricket. Having been shunned as a white-ball player given his ordinary record in Tests initially, Babar has made massive strides to become the standout batsman in Pakistan’s Test unit as well.
Currently thriving in the form of his life that has seen him rack up two centuries and one score of 97 in five innings, Babar feels he has the potential to register a triple ton too one day. He has already shown the skills to get close to such a mammoth score with his highest first-class score reading 266 and Babar said he hopes to transfer that level of patience in the Test arena.
Babar Azam is playing the cut-shot.
“Someday I am looking at scoring a triple century. I believe that you need to set yourself goals as all top players do. I have also set myself the target of becoming more consistent in Test cricket as well,” he was quoted as saying.
