Rumman Raees, the paceman of Pakistan, is counted among the shrewdest bowlers of the country. However, injuries haven’t allowed his career to blossom the way it was meant to. After getting injured in the 2018 season of the Pakistan Super League (PSL), the left-arm quick recovered to play few games of the PSL 2019 before getting injured again.
However, he went through the rehabilitation process and now sits all set to participate in the T20 tournament of the United States, called ‘US Open T20 cricket’. In fact, the 28-year old has already left to reach US along with the wicket-keeper batsman Saifullah Bangash as the duo will participate in the 29-team tournament.
Rumman was pleased to get back to the professional cricket as he is aiming to hone his skills and be in best shape for the forthcoming season of the darling T20 competition of Pakistan, which is set to hit the local stadiums in February 2020. It remains to be seen how Rumman fares while playing once again for Islamabad United.
