Yuvraj Singh calls for ‘better planning’ for T20 World Cup

With less than a year to go in the highly admired T20 World Cup, all the teams are shaping up their squads to be in the right shape to steal the thunder of the mega-event. Indian team, like all the other units, is doing the same as Virat Kohli led side is testing new resources before the grand show in Australia.

Recently, former Indian all-rounder Yuvraj Singh has jumped into action to share a piece of advice for the men in blue. The 38-year old believes that the management needs to step into the T20 World Cup by not repeating the mistakes of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 tournament in England.

The hero of the World Cup of 2011 particularly highlighted the fact that India entered the 50-over competition of 2019 without fixing their number 4 issue and it caused them some trouble. Hence, he urged the authorities to make proper plans and define roles to make sure that the team is good enough to compete against other top units. It remains to be seen how India fares in the T20 event set to commence in October.
