It is no secret that the prolific batsman Babar Azam is the best batsman of Pakistan. Oozing with class, the top-order batsman recorded strong shows by piling heaps of runs across the three formats of the game. After scoring a delightful century against Sri Lanka in the Rawalpindi Test, Babar has stretched his purple patch to Karachi, where he scored a needed half-century.
All this has impressed the cricketing world and the former Kiwi wicket-keeper batsman Luke Ronchi is no exception. Recently, the explosive cricketer shared his views on Pakistan’s run machine as he rated him among the modern day greats like Virat Kohli, Steve Smith and Kane Williamson. Moreover, Ronchi shared that he loved to see Babar dominating the Australian bowling line-up.
“I feel that Babar will be in same caliber, if not there already, as some of the world’s top batters like Virat Kohli, Steve Smith and Kane Williamson. He makes batting look so easy while being equally good against both pace and spin. It was great to see him scoring big in Australia,” the 38-year old said while sharing his opinion.
