Bhogle responds to criticism over using local language in the presentation ceremony

Ravindra Jadeja once again proved his batting talent as he carried India home against West Indies in the 3rd ODI at Cuttack. His 39 runs off 31 balls sealed India a series win after a phenomenal run-chase. After the match, Harsha Bhogle held a talk with Shardul Thakur and Ravindra Jadeja.

Harsha started the conversation with Jadeja in Hindi but after Jadeja replied in English, Harsha quickly changed his language. Fans trolled Harsha Bhogle for starting the conversation in Hindi even when Jadeja was quite capable of responding in English.

Harsha replied to his critics on Twitter and said that you always begin a conversation in the language in which you are most comfortable. “The moment Jadeja indicated he was good to go (in English), I shifted.”

Ravindra Jadeja trolled Bhogle once again during the brief interview. Bhogle asked whether the players also calculate runs and balls in their minds just like the commentators. In reply, Jadeja said: “They show it on screens so it is easy to calculate”.
