Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chairman Ehsan Mani has taken a strong stance over Bangladesh’s recalcitrant attitude towards touring Pakistan. Bangladesh have made it clear they are unwilling to make the trip to Pakistan for the Test matches next month despite the successful Sri Lanka tour to the country.
Reacting to their hesitancy, Mani emphasized his confidence in the security arrangements in Pakistan and also indirectly took potshots at neighbouring country India where there are ongoing protests disrupting the stability in society.
"We have proved that Pakistan is safe, if someone isn't coming then they should prove that it's unsafe. At this time, India is a far greater security risk than Pakistan,” Mani stated.
"No one should now doubt security arrangements in Pakistan after successful Sri Lanka Test series. This is a turning point for revival of Test cricket in Pakistan. Media and fans played an important role in portraying positive image of Pakistan worldwide," he firmly added.
