Pakistani players funny banter on Twitter

With just less than 50 days to go in Pakistan Super League, the hype has started to increase. PCB announced the schedule of PSL 5 and with all 34 matches scheduled in Pakistan, the excitement is more than ever. Pakistani players including Fakhar Zaman, Babar Azam, Hasan Ali, Shadab Khan, and Shan Masood shared a funny banter on Twitter. Here is how it started:

Fakhar started the proceedings and said: “Time anay wala hai, mein tou tyar hu tum btaou kab kehlna hai bahir”. (Time is here and I am ready, just tell when to play).

Hasan replied to Fakhar’s offer and said, “Fakhar bhai app Zalmi ki pace khelne ki practice krein, apko btatey matches kab hain”. (Fakhar you just get ready to face Zalmi’s pace and we will let you know when are the matches).

Following him was Babar Azam who said: “Hasan Ali Hamarey ground mei arahe ho crowd tou hamare sath hi hoga tum bs ready rehna”. (Hasan Ali you are coming to our ground the crowd will be with us. Be Ready!)

Shadab also replied Babar in a funny style and said: “Babar bhai app jo marzi keh lein mene apko chaka tou nai marne dena baki Islamabad ke boys tyaar hain app bta dein kab aur kidr kehlna” (Babar no matter what you say I won’t let you hit a six. Islamabad is ready you just tell when and where to play).

The conversation did not end here and Pakistan’s former skipper Sarfraz Ahmed stepped in and said: “Shaddy (Shadab) Quetta Gladiators bhi tyar hain Watto Bhai (Watson) and Umar Akmal bhi naye balay lekr arahe hain full tyari hai” (Shadab Quetta Gladiators is also ready. Shane Watson and Umar Akmal are bringing new bats; we are fully ready).

Shan Masood concluded the conversation and said: “Multan aou acha khana khilaye ge, cricket bhi khilaye ge, aur sath mei match ka maza bhi chakhaye ge.” (Come to Multan we will make you enjoy with some good food, cricket, and defeat).

Pakistan Super League will kick on from 20th February in Karachi. Defending champions Quetta Gladiators will face Islamabad United in the opening game. The final will be played in Lahore on 22nd March 2020.
