Pace bowling sensation Haris Rauf has once again made an impact in the Big Bash League (BBL) with a sizzling spell of bowling against Sydney Thunders. Making a comeback into the Melbourne Stars lineup in the place of the injured Sandeep Lamichhane, Rauf rocked the Thunders’ batsmen with his lightning pace deliveries.
Rauf, who shot to prominence in the Pakistan Super League (PSL) for his heroics with Lahore Qalandars, has continued to impress everyone in the BBL with his stunning accuracy to attack the stumps. His formidable pace has been the undoing of many batsmen as they have repeatedly failed to negotiate their nagging lines.
The 26-year-old has raised his tally of wickets in the tournament to 10 at an astonishing average of a shade over seven after claiming three scalps in the clash against Thunders. Rauf’s destructive bowling abilities thus helped Melbourne Stars to achieve another win this season.
