Rajshahi Royals skipper Shoaib Malik is enjoying a profitable stint in the ongoing Bangladesh Premier League where he is thriving with both bat and ball in hand. The Royals are reaping the rewards of Malik’s outstanding leadership skills as they currently occupy the top spot in the seven-team table.
Malik was at the helm of another win for the Royals as they defeated Rangpur Rangers by an emphatic margin of 30 runs, extending their dominance in the league. The veteran all-rounder gelled the Royals’ innings with a crafty 31-ball 37 glittered by four boundaries.
Later, he used his vast bowling experience to great effect by his choking lines and lengths drying up the runs for the opposing side. Malik returned impressive figures of two for 27 in four overs including the scalps of Mohammad Naim and Cameron Delport.
