Khushdil Shah, the middle-order batsman of Pakistan, is one of the most exciting picks for the forthcoming edition of the highly admired Pakistan Super League (PSL). He was snapped up by Multan Sultans for his power hitting. Carrying an experience of 36 T20s, the aggressive batter averages a shade under 25 while possessing a strike-rate of 119.45.
While the record doesn’t highlight the talent he carries, the upcoming season of Pakistan’s darling T20 tournament would provide the 24-year old a great chance to get registered in the national reckoning.
Importantly, Khushdil has got the backing of Ali Tareen who is the co-owner of Multan. The Pakistani businessman, on his Twitter handle, shared that he believes in the abilities of Khushdil and wants him to big in the T20 carnival of the country, so that he can push his case for the mega-event in Australia. It remains to be seen how Khushdil fares in the 6-team event. The electrifying atmosphere along with high quality cricket of PSL is set to hit Pakistani grounds from February 20.
