Melbourne Stars pacer Haris Rauf has apologized for his controversial celebration during the Big Bash League (BBL) game. Haris’ cut-throat celebrations following his wickets came under scrutiny as the Rawalpindi-born was warned to watch out for it.
Lahore Qalandars’ head coach Aqib Javed has clarified that Haris has apologized for his over-exuberant celebration and has vowed not to repeat it again. Haris’ stint during the ongoing BBL season has been very impressive as the right-arm fast bowler picked up 10 wickets in just 3 matches.
“Haris apologized for his actions after I told him that this is against the moral code observed by the Qalandars”, Aqib Javed said. Haris has been training under Aqib Javed in Lahore Qalandars training camps. His impressive outing in BBL is a good sign for Lahore Qalandars with just less than 50 days left in the 5th edition of Pakistan Super League.
