Despite many negotiations, Bangladesh’s tour to Pakistan is yet to take a final shape. In latest proceedings, Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) presented a strange idea of hosting one game of the two-match series in their country, which surprised Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) since they recently held a successful show against Sri Lanka.
This proposal was rejected by the PCB as it is Pakistan’s home Test series so there’s no point of Bangladesh hosting any of the game. However, BCB Chief Executive Nizamuddin Chowdhury said that he has no idea of any such proposal coming from Bangladesh.
He cleared that his board’s stance revolves around sending the national team to Pakistan for the three-game T20I series and they want to take the decision on Test series afterwards. It would not be wrong to say that there is still a plethora of confusion looming around the tour and it remains to be seen how things fare for the PCB.
