Ben Stokes once again acknowledged the world that he is currently one of the best all-rounders in the world. Stokes went belligerent in the 2nd innings of the Cape Town Test match against South Africa as he made a quick-fire 72 off just 47 balls.
His maverick knock included 7 boundaries and 3 maximums as Stokes allowed England to put up a mammoth target of 438 for South Africa. Despite his father’s illness, Ben Stokes showed some great courage on the field and strengthened his side’s position in the Test match.
The all-rounder enjoyed some great time in the slip cordon as well where he took some unbelievable catches during the 1st innings of the 2nd Test match. The 28-year old with his performances, is making sure that his name is remembered for a long, long time.
