Abid Ali honored at Governor Punjab’s residence

Abid Ali, the opening batsman of Pakistan, has recently took the cricketing world by storm after smashing centuries on both ODI and Test debuts, becoming only the first male cricketer to do so. Not only that, he continued to make his mark in the two-game Test series against Sri Lanka scoring 321 runs at 160.50 by smashing 2 delightful centuries, which lifted the hearts of many fans.

To applaud his heroics, he was recently invited by Governor Punjab Chaudhry Mohammad Sarwar at Governor’s House. Abid was also presented a memento to reward him for making his country proud. On the occasion, Governor Punjab was found in awe of Abid Ali.

He hoped to see Abid continuing a great show in the International cricket by becoming one of the finest batters produced by the Pakistan. Abid himself was quite happy to see him getting such an appreciation. Moreover, the 32-year old vowed to keep working hard and record strong shows in his forthcoming assignments.
