Zimbabwe will mark a return in the longest format of the game as the African nation is all set to take on Sri Lanka in the 2-match Test series in Harare scheduled later this month.
Playing their last Test match in November 2018 against Bangladesh, Zimbabwe has been deprived of the Test format. It has been more than 2 years since Zimbabwe last played Sri Lanka in a Test match.
Zimbabwe recently launched their new captains in the shape of Sean Williams (Test captain) and Chamu Chibhabha (limited-overs captain) who will serve on an interim basis. Zimbabwe will begin their preparations of the Test series with a 10-day long training camp before the Test series kicks on from 19th January. The 2nd Test match of the series will commence from 27th January 2020.
