Indian all-rounder Hardik Pandya talked about an exciting challenge that awaits him in the shape of ICC T20 Cricket World cup in Australia this year. Pandya, who recently underwent a surgery, said that he will never be able to take the place of the former Indian captain.
When asked about his role as a finisher in the upcoming T20I World Cup, Hardik said that he is excited to face the challenge but he will never be able to fill the shoes of MS Dhoni. “I don’t even think about it. I am quite excited about the challenge, to be honest. But whatever I will do it will be for the team”, he added.
Hardik has not been seen in the Indian colors since September 2019 as the all-rounder is currently recovering from an injury. Pandya will tour to New Zealand with India A team, however; his comeback in the National side is not confirmed yet.
