After a dominating home season, Australia is set to lock horns against India in India. The yellow team would be witnessed battling against the men in blue in a three-game ODI series, the matches of which are scheduled to be played on January 14, 17 and 19 at Mumbai, Rajkot and Bengaluru respectively.
It is no secret that spin plays a major role in sub-continent, particularly in India. Nevertheless, the value and quality of a pacer like Pat Cummins cannot be denied as he is going through his purple patch in the International cricket.
Recently, the 26-year old was found reflecting on the forthcoming challenge of Australia as he is eyeing a strong show in India. Cummins admitted that the spinners would hold a special significance in India, but said that this cannot undermine the role of fast-bowlers. The sturdy pacer further added that India offers a little bit with the new ball as well if bowlers bowl intelligently. It remains to be seen how he fares in India.
