Haris Rauf has been a terrific for the Melbourne Stars in the ongoing Big Bash League (BBL). After being signed for just 3 games, Haris’ exquisite performances and Pat Brown’s injury forced Stars to retain the pacer. Haris has so far taken 13 wickets in just 4 games which also includes a hat-trick.
Talking about his future goals, Haris said, “I have proved my potential to be playing ICC T20 World Cup for Pakistan, which is also in Australia. I never really planned of playing cricket. I grew up playing tennis ball cricket until 2017, and never thought that I could play for Pakistan but this dream was given to me by Lahore Qalandars”, he added.
Haris exquisite pace was another factor that grabbed the attention of many cricket pundits. Pakistan cricket team is in a building phase of their preparations for the ICC T20 World Cup 2020 and they are seeking the best possible players that can represent the men in green at the world stage. Haris, with his top-notch performances, have made himself a strong candidate for selection in the National team.
