India’s opening batsman KL Rahul continues to prove his worth at the top-order as the right-handed batsman scored yet another half-century for his team. Rahul gave India a great platform against Sri Lanka in the 3rd T20I match at Pune. He scored 54 off just 36 balls, his knock including 5 boundaries and a maximum.
Rahul’s scores in the last five T20I games he played are 54, 45, 91, 11, and 62 respectively. He also enjoyed a great outing against the Windies in the ODI series where he scored 185 runs in 3-match ODI series.
Rahul’s terrific form has created few problems for Indian selectors as now they would have to choose between him, Shikhar Dhawan and Rohit Sharma. All 3 have done a great job for India in the recent past, therefore, it won’t be an easy decision for the Indian selectors.
