Virat completed this record in 196 innings surpassing the great Ricky Ponting who completed it in 252 innings. The list of other skippers includes, Graeme Smith (264 innings), Allan Border (316 innings), MS Dhoni (324 innings) and Stephen Fleming (333 innings).
