Australia’s middle order batsman Marnus Labuschagne is currently enjoying a dream run as he has risen to number 3 position in the ICC Test rankings (batsman). Labuschagne, who was brought as a replacement for Steve Smith during the Ashes series, never looked back.
His home run was dominant during the Test series against Pakistan and New Zealand. Marnus talked about taking aspirations from the fabulous 4, “You look at the guys I look up to aspire to- Steve Smith, Virat Kohli, Joe Root, and Kane Williamson. They have been doing it for a very long time, five, six years they have been consistent, not just in one format, but two or more formats”- Manus.
Labuschagne's has proved his batting credentials and he has now become an integral part of Australian team. The right-handed currently averages 63.43 in 14 Test matches he has played for Australia.
