The Australian wicket-keeper batsman Alex Carey seeks aspirations from MS Dhoni as his side is all ready to start the ODI series against India. Carey wishes to emulate Dhoni style of play, as he has a similar kind of role to play in the current Australian side.
“When you look at the best in the world like MS Dhoni, you want to learn as much as you can from him”, he said. “I was lucky enough to play against him last year, just the way he took the game deep and won it for India. I aspire to do that one day. It is just improving little parts of my game”- he added.
Carey had a wonderful outing in the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 where he scored 375 runs at a remarkable average of 62.50 and with a strike-rate better then run ball. The wicket-keeper batsman is optimistic about the ODI series against India as he wants to continue his good form.
