Indian all-rounder Hardik Pandya has pulled himself out of New Zealand tour with the India A team on the advice of his trainer S Rajnikanth. The all-rounder, who had a long injury lay-off, is still suspicious about handling the workload of the International games.
Hardik’s trainer assured the fans that he is 100% fit and even can score 20 in yo-yo Test. However, his trainer has advised Pandya to refrain from joining the workload for now and focus on his rehabilitation. Pandya’s inclusion in the senior side for the New Zealand tour also hangs in doubt.
Pandya has been replaced by Vijay Shankar in India’s A team. Shankar has not been seen in the Indian colors since July 2019. Therefore, it is also a chance for Shankar to prove his credentials and make a comeback in the Indian side. India A is scheduled to play two red-ball matches and 3 One-Day matches in New Zealand.
