Pakistani spin sensation Shadab Khan is one of the finest spinners of the modern cricket. Particularly, when it comes to T20 cricket, the leggie enjoys a lot of fame which isn’t getting harmed by his performances in the ongoing edition of the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL).
After recording his exploits with ball in BPL, the 21-year old took advantage of the opportunity to show his prowess with the willow. In the eliminator against Chattogram Challengers, Shadab rescued his team Dhaka Platoon from a precarious position. Getting reduced to 60-7, Dhaka was in grave danger of getting all out before 100.
However, his partnerships with all-rounder Thisara Perera and skipper Mashrafe Mortaza allowed Dhaka to post 144 runs on the board. Doing so, Shadab scored unbeaten 64 runs using only 41 balls, striking 5 fours and 3 sixes.
Disappointingly, Dhaka’s bowling unit wasn’t able to perform well including Shadab Khan as he conceded runs at an economy of 12 in his 2.3 overs. Hence, the contributions from batters allowed Challengers to go one step ahead in the Bangladesh’s prestigious T20 competition.
