Five members Bangladesh’s coaching staff will not be accompanying the side for the forthcoming tour of Pakistan. This includes former South African batsman and current Bangladesh white-ball batting consultant Neil McKenzie and the spin bowling coach Daniel Vettori.
Other people withdrawing from the Pakistan tour are fielding coach Ryan Cook and team analyst Shrinivas Chandrasekaran, who has not been considered for the trip on account of his being an Indian citizen. This arrangement might affect the preparations of Bangladesh for the tour, which comprises of three T20Is, two Tests and a one-off ODI.
Meanwhile, Bangladesh coach Russell Domingo is set to travel with the team after having confirmed his availability for the series beforehand. He will have a depleted staff at his disposal with support personnel brought as backup options.
