After getting Bangladesh convinced for the tour of Pakistan, Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) announced the squad for the three-game T20I series scheduled to commence from January 24. The picked unit contains a blend of youth and experience, but omission or non-selection of few players surprised many.
One of the debatable topic includes the wicket-keeper batsman Kamran Akmal, along with Sarfaraz Ahmed, was under consideration because of poor shows by Mohammad Rizwan in T20Is against Australia. Reacting to the news of squad selection on his official Twitter handle, Kamran said that he is heartbroken on not getting picked against Bangladesh.
However, the aggressive batsman added that he would not lose heart and will continue to work hard so that he can don the national jersey yet again. He also wished luck to the selected bunch as he wants the boys in green to dominate against The Tigers.
Moreover, he thanked his fans for supporting him through thick and thin. It is good to see him not losing his focus since the upcoming edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) would present him an ideal opportunity to record his prowess.
