Mohammad Hafeez, the cricketer of Pakistan, is counted among the finest all-rounders produced by the country. Playing 55 Tests, 218 ODIs and 89 T20Is, the skillful cricketer managed a combination of 12174 runs and 246 wickets to help the men in green win many contests.
Recently, in a media interaction, the 39-year old cricketer has announced his retirement from International cricket after the conclusion of T20 World Cup 2020 in Australia. Hafeez has already bid farewell to red-ball cricket and now hopes to leave the game by registering a memorable show in Australia. It is important to note that he was recalled to the national team after the green team got decimated by a spirited and inexperienced Sri Lankan side.
“My plan is to represent Pakistan in the T20 World Cup in Australia and retire from International cricket after the tournament. It has always been an honor to play for your country. The feeling we get from donning the national color cannot be explained in words”- Hafeez said in a press conference.
