Australian openers David Warner and Aaron Finch excelled in ICC ODI batting rankings after their incredible display of batsmanship during the 1st ODI against India at Wankhede. Both the openers piled up centuries and led Australia to a dominant win over India.
However, both Finch and Warner could not repeat the same classics with the bat in the 2nd and 3rd ODI but still managed to improve their positions in the batting rankings. Finch progressed one point and entered into the top 10 batting rankings while Warner jumped from number 7th position to number 6th position.
Virat Kohli is leading the list with 886 points to his name, Rohit Sharma sits on the 2nd position with 868 points, following him is Babar Azam who occupies the 3rd position with 829 points.
