The start to 2020 has been wonderful for India as they came back strongly after a crushing defeat in the first of the three-game ODI series against Australia. Many started writing the blue team off, but they reminded everyone of their prowess by winning back to back contests to claim the series.
Highlighting the last ODI series when Australia outplayed the men in blue despite being 2-0 down in the five-game series, Indian skipper Virat Kohli said that he was extremely delighted with the progress of his unit as they recorded sturdy outings after getting pushed against the wall. Reviewing the 50-over series, the batting genius said that it was satisfying to see the players taking responsibility and chipping in to aid the team beat the yellow jersey.
However, the 31-year old reiterated that he has no plans to rest on his laurels and would aim to push the unit to achieve a lot more in 2020. He also indicated that India is preparing hard and sits eager to win the forthcoming T20 World Cup, which is scheduled in Australia.
