Pakistan’s search for a reliable pace bowling all-rounder is still on as their patience with Faheem Ashraf seems to end. For this reason, the recent addition to the national team comes in the form of Amad Butt who was selected after a consistent and laudable show in the domestic circuit of Pakistan.
Getting picked in the national unit after a long time, Amad has no plans to waste the opportunity. Sharing his views on the upcoming T20I series against Bangladesh, the aggressive cricketer said that it was his dream to represent Pakistan in the International circuit and seeing it all happening has lifted his heart. He wants to fill the gap of a proper all-rounder and plans to contribute both with bat and ball.
Amad further added that he wants to make the most of his chance as he is eyeing a strong show against Bangladesh, thus cementing his place in the green team. It will be interesting to see how the 24-year old player fares against Bangladesh, if given the opportunity in the playing XI.
