After the settlement of all the security concerns regarding Bangladesh’s tour to Pakistan, the focus got back to cricket as Bangladesh and Pakistan are gearing up for an enticing battle. The two teams, encompassing many capable players, will lock horns for a series of three T20I matches, scheduled to be played on January 24, 25 and 27 in Lahore.
For the forthcoming cricket action, head coach of Bangladesh Russell Domingo revealed confidence as he locates strength among his ranks. He didn’t shy away from admitting the quality of the boys in green, but added that his team has the depth and skills to take down Pakistan in their backyard.
Sharing his views on the Pakistan T20Is, the 45-year old said, “They are the top-ranked T20I side so it’d be a hard assignment. However, our squad has the prowess to beat Pakistan in Pakistan. We nearly defeated India as well, so our confidence is high. We would give our best shot to win the series.”
