Recording a splendid comeback to claim victory in the three-game ODI series against Australia, India’s next mission is to continue their supremacy in New Zealand. The two teams, lined up to play 5 T20Is, 3 ODIs and 2 Tests, are set to engage in a gripping battle.
For the forthcoming cricket action, Indian skipper Virat Kohli has already made a plan as he doesn’t want his unit to drop the intensity. The batting icon said that the men in blue needs to boss the contest right from the word go. Highlighting the need to gain early advantage, the 31-year old added that playing in away conditions require a unit to be at the top of their game.
“As we will be playing in alien conditions, it is imperative to take even more intensity into that series. We cannot afford to ease into the series after two games, because then it just keeps getting tougher and tougher. The idea is to put the home team under pressure and set that template from game one”- Virat said while reflecting on the tour of New Zealand.
