With less than a month left in the fifth edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL), teams are gearing up to steal the thunder of the mega-event. Similarly, coaches are busy in devising plans to help their unit win the crunch moments against the opposition.
Recently, former Australian cricketer Dean Jones, on his official Twitter handle, gave a glimpse of his ‘blue book’ – the notebook where he usually writes all the important stuff for his unit. The color of his notebook got changed from red to blue as Dean made a shift from Islamabad United to Karachi Kings. Sharing a picture of his blue book, the cricketer turned coach said that he sits ready and excited for the forthcoming season of Pakistan’s coveted T20 tournament.
It is important to note that Dean Jones has scaled massive heights of success with Islamabad as he won two of the four editions of the 6-team event. Encompassing a plethora of excitement, the madness of PSL 2020 will hit Pakistan on February 20 in Karachi where a star-studded opening ceremony would be followed by the mouth-watering contest between defending champions Quetta Gladiators and Islamabad United.
