Sohail Tanvir, the adroit bowling all-rounder of Pakistan, gave a good account of his brilliance with Quetta Gladiators in the last season of the Pakistan Super League (PSL). Despite a strong bowling show, the experienced cricketer was released by Quetta – a move which saw him getting picked by Multan Sultans.
Playing 36 PSL games, the 35-year old has 34 wickets to his name. Apart from his bowling prowess, Sohail is a handy batsman who is capable enough to deliver lusty blows towards the backend of the innings. While Multan struggled a lot in PSL 2019, this year’s squad has given the fans some hope to embark a new journey.
Carrying an experience of 327 T20 games, Sohail sits confident ahead of the fifth edition of Pakistan’s T20 gala. Former Quetta Gladiators player, who is currently sweating it out in gym to be in the best shape for PSL 2020, has shared his wish to claim glory with Multan and lift the prestigious PSL title.
He will be joined by Mohammad Irfan, Junaid Khan and Mohammad Ilyas to form a strong pace department for Multan’s side. It would be interesting to see how he fares in PSL 2020.
